One of the hardest concepts to grasp in 3d is UV Mapping. It takes time, it can be considered tedious, and if not done correctly, your textures are going to look awful! Therefore I created this video series to help explain why UV mapping is important and how to use the provided UV toolkit to unravel your UVs.
We go over the foundations of UV mapping as well as several of the tools, including planar, cylindrical, spherical and automatic mapping. Furthermore, we go over handy tools such as layout, unfold, and more!
